CIRCUS ANIMAL

"Balancing between relic and creature, Circus Animal asks what remains when spectacle disappears and only memory continues to stand."

Circus Animal

Circus Animal brings together weathered driftwood and a reclaimed industrial base into a figure that feels at once animal, monument, and artifact. The scarred red and yellow pedestal carries the marks of prolonged use, while the driftwood rises from it like a body shaped by time rather than design.

CIRCUS ANIMAL

By pairing found materials with minimal intervention, the sculpture explores resilience, transformation, and the lives objects continue to carry after their original purpose has been forgotten. Suspended between animation and stillness, it invites viewers to imagine a presence that quietly persists beyond its performance.
